Scope

CountMetrik is a public collection of browser-based counting tools operated by an independent developer based in China. These terms describe the conditions for using the public service. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use CountMetrik.

The service

CountMetrik provides free counting tools without an account, subscription, cloud synchronization, remote recovery, or payment feature. The current product runs primarily in your browser.

Features may depend on localStorage, IndexedDB, Service Workers, fullscreen, vibration, sound, clipboard, file downloads, or screen wake lock. A browser or device may restrict or remove any of those capabilities.

Local data and backups

Browser data can be cleared, evicted, reset, or lost with a device or browser change. CountMetrik cannot restore browser-only data that was never uploaded to a server. Export important data and verify the file before relying on it.

You are responsible for storing, transferring, and deleting exported files safely and for checking an import before replacing existing data.

Not for critical or certified use

CountMetrik is not an emergency, medical, legal, financial, industrial-safety, access-control, voting, certified record, or regulated measurement system. Important counts should be independently verified where errors or loss could cause material harm.

Acceptable use

• Do not interfere with or intentionally overload the service.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access or bypass security.
• Do not introduce malicious code.
• Do not use the service for unlawful activity.
• Do not impersonate CountMetrik or falsely claim official affiliation.

Availability and third-party infrastructure

The service may change or be unavailable. Offline functionality depends on required files being cached and browser storage remaining available. CountMetrik relies on browsers, networks, and Vercel hosting infrastructure that it does not fully control. See the Privacy Policy for data details.

Intellectual property and service limitations

The CountMetrik name, original branding, interface text, and site assets remain subject to applicable intellectual-property law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership or grants permission to imply an official affiliation.

CountMetrik is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent retention of browser-local data. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

Updated Terms will show a revised Last updated date. Changes apply prospectively from the published update.
