Does one tap always count once?

Yes. The tap surface is designed so one deliberate press produces one count. Touch and synthetic mouse click double-counting is suppressed, and holding does not auto-repeat.

Yes. Tap Counter is built for phones and touch screens, with large controls, fullscreen, and optional screen-awake support when the browser allows it.

Can I count up and down?

Yes. Use decrement and Undo in Single Zone, or switch to Two-Zone mode for large left (−) and right (+) regions.

What is Two-Zone mode?

Two-Zone splits the main surface into two large touch regions — left decreases and right increases by your step. Labels are for guidance only and do not change the math.

Can the screen stay awake?

When your browser supports the Screen Wake Lock API, you can turn Screen awake on. It is off by default and never blocks counting if unavailable.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After a successful visit, Tap Counter can be used offline as part of the CountMetrik progressive web app. Counts stay on this device.

Is my count uploaded?

No. Tap values, names, labels, and history stay on your device. CountMetrik does not upload them to a server.
