Summary

• No account is required.
• Counter data remains on the device.
• Count history is not uploaded.
• Custom names are not uploaded.
• Clearing browser storage may remove saved data.

• You can delete all local CountMetrik data from Settings.

What we store

CountMetrik stores counter values, custom names, mode settings, preferences, and operation history in your browser using localStorage and IndexedDB. This data does not leave your device as part of normal counter use.

What we do not collect

We do not require accounts, and we do not upload your counter values, custom names, notes, imported files, or full operation history to a CountMetrik server. There is no cloud sync in this product build.

Analytics

If analytics are configured in a future deployment, CountMetrik may record only non-content events (for example: mode changed, export completed, PWA installed). Events must never include counter values, custom names, or history contents. If no analytics provider is configured, the analytics wrapper does nothing.

Your controls

• Export a JSON backup from Settings.
• Import a previous backup to restore.
• Restore defaults or delete all local CountMetrik data.
• Clear site data via your browser settings.
