Operator and contact

CountMetrik is operated by an independent developer based in China. For privacy or support inquiries, contact support@countmetrik.com.

At a glance

  • No CountMetrik account is required.
  • Counter and project content is stored in browser storage on your device.
  • CountMetrik application code does not upload your counter values, names, notes, projects, imported backup contents, or history.
  • The site uses Vercel for web hosting, so normal website request metadata is processed by hosting infrastructure.
  • No analytics or advertising script is currently active on CountMetrik.
  • If you email support, the information you send is processed to handle that message.

Data stored on your device

Depending on the tool you use, CountMetrik stores local state for the General Counter, Tap, Tasbih, Row, People, and Japa tools. This can include counter values, labels, targets, preferences, operation history, People session names and occupancy totals, Tasbih session names and summaries, Row project names, notes, repeats and stitch history, and Japa practice names, mala progress, goals, totals and finished-session summaries.

The application uses localStorage and IndexedDB with separate storage areas for each product. A Service Worker and the browser Cache API may store application files and static assets for offline use. Application cache is different from saved counter data.

Imports and exports

JSON and CSV exports are generated in your browser and downloaded locally. Imported JSON backup files are read and validated in the browser. CountMetrik application code does not upload imported file contents.

Downloaded or exported files are outside CountMetrik's control after download. Protect them as you would any local file that may contain names, notes, routines, or other information you entered.

Hosting and network data

CountMetrik is hosted on Vercel. Visiting the site requires your browser to send a normal web request. Vercel's current Privacy Notice states that information about traffic to customer websites may include an end-user IP address, location information derived from IP address, and system configuration information.

Vercel describes how it uses and protects this information in its Privacy Notice. CountMetrik does not intentionally include your locally stored counter content in hosting requests.

See the Vercel Privacy Notice for Vercel's own information about its processing.

International and cross-border hosting

Vercel operates global infrastructure. As a result, normal website request metadata may be stored, processed, or transmitted outside the country or region where you are located, including in the United States and other jurisdictions where Vercel operates.

CountMetrik does not intentionally include your locally stored counter content in hosting requests.

When you contact support

If you email support@countmetrik.com, CountMetrik receives the sender email address, message content, and any attachments or other information you choose to include.

This information is used to respond to the inquiry, handle privacy or support requests, maintain necessary correspondence, and prevent abuse where necessary.

Support correspondence may be retained as needed to respond to the inquiry, maintain necessary records, prevent abuse, or meet applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the nature of the inquiry and applicable requirements.

Analytics, advertising, and cookies

At the time of this update, CountMetrik does not run an analytics provider or advertising script on the public site. CountMetrik application code does not intentionally set account, session, personalization, or advertising cookies.

Vercel's own processing is described in the Vercel Privacy Notice linked above.

Retention and deletion

Local product data remains until you or the product, browser, or device removes it. Use product reset or delete controls, or choose Delete saved CountMetrik data to remove saved counter data and preferences for General Counter, Tap, Tasbih, Row, People, and Japa.

That product action does not claim to remove the Service Worker, Cache API entries, a PWA installation, downloaded export files, hosting-provider logs, or support emails. Browser site-data controls can remove localStorage, IndexedDB, and caches. Exported files must be deleted separately.

Hosting-provider retention is described in the Vercel Privacy Notice.

Disclosure and sale

CountMetrik does not sell or rent locally stored counter content. The application does not upload that content, so CountMetrik does not maintain a server-side copy of it through the application for sale to advertisers or data brokers. Normal hosting request metadata and support correspondence follow the boundaries described above.

Your choices and privacy requests

For browser-local counter data, use product reset or delete controls, Delete saved CountMetrik data, and browser site-data controls. For information CountMetrik actually controls outside browser-local counter data, such as support correspondence, contact support@countmetrik.com.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other action relating to personal information handled by CountMetrik. Requests will be handled as required by applicable law. For information Vercel processes itself, refer to the Vercel Privacy Notice.

Security

CountMetrik uses HTTPS in Production and applies browser security headers. No system is completely secure. Local data is also affected by the security of your device, browser, extensions, operating system, exported files, and anyone who can access your browser profile.

Children

CountMetrik is a general-purpose utility and is not specifically designed for children. The counting tools do not require you to provide your age, real name, email address, phone number, an account, or payment information. If you contact support, your email address and message are handled as described in the "When you contact support" section above. Users can type arbitrary text into labels and notes, so they should avoid personal or sensitive information, especially for minors or shared devices.

A parent or guardian with a privacy concern can contact support@countmetrik.com.

Changes

Material privacy changes will update this page and its fixed Last updated date. If CountMetrik adds analytics, advertising, accounts, cloud synchronization, payments, or a support form, this Privacy Policy will be updated when the related processing is introduced.
